  • What Counts as a Typo?
This can be a tricky question. What's the line between error and freedom of expression? What is definitely a mistake as opposed to a variation or a gradually accepted version?

  • Spelling and Grammar Questions
Double-letter trouble? Not sure where to put that apostrophe? Wondering which rules are now archaic? Somebody will be able to help here. Note that answers may vary depending on what style manual one subscribes to (Chicago, AP, AMA, MLA). Consider whatever style is appropriate for the medium you're writing in.

  • Typo Finds and Corrections
Typo-hunting is now in the hands of everyone who gives a damn about clarity and consistency. If you've spotted a typo and gotten it fixed (or at least tried to), post pictures of your finds and corrections here. Let us know where it was. IMPORTANT NOTE: You *must* get permission from the sign owner before you fix a typo. And stay away from government-owned signs altogether; Uncle Sam can get rather nasty.

Proofread your work before sending it out into the world, my brothers and sisters! Share anecdotes here about how a little extra attention could have saved a lot of trouble later.

How did the League get started, anyway? Is it going in the right direction? Think you've got a better idea?

Nobody thinks about spelling and grammar *all* the time, not even those obsessives Deck and Herson. This is the place for all your non-TEAL-related, non-orthography-related discussions.
